Previous weeks working from home

Over the last week, I have been tasked with a new project within seat trim to be able to track and manage processes along the area. This has given me something new to focus on then progress into having the application in production, helping the area improve the rate at which they produce the trimmed parts also to help with flagging issues that keep occurring. I am enjoying working from home due to the fact I have to keep myself accountable every day.

06/04/2020

Over the last week, I have been busy since the App that I created has been placed into its first pilot. During this time I have been tracking different areas of the App such as screen time on specific areas and then whether any errors have occurred. This week my aim is to take some of the advice and then defects flagged from the S&M team into the next version of the App which has a different level of authentication to access.

Previous week or so working from home

Due to the current situation I am working from home and this will be my second full week, it was challenging at the start trying to get into a routine then keeping strict on working patterns. But after a couple of days I got into the swing of things and I have delivered a Beta version of the app that I have been working on to the deadline. This week I am going to work further on the app with any suggestions for improvements I get once user testing takes place, then use Skill Sure and the HTML 5 textbook to get used to start learning some content prior to the training week.

First Week at the Academy

During my first week there was plenty of different topics that i have consumed, from British Values which was very much an eye opener since I had no understanding of this before. Everyone at the academy has been very friendly and welcoming which has led to me feeling comfortable having discussions within many different areas. In addition to this one part of the week that I have found useful was looking at my current skills and values, which looks at the way I conduct myself. Then leading into a career development plan which looks at my current point and then where I can change in certain ways to meet the goals that I have set out. Overall the first week has been interesting and have found it useful, giving me a larger understanding of what is expected from me throughout the course of my apprenticeship.
